First Baptist Church of District Heights

Our Sunday Worship Service begins at 11:00am and usually lasts about an hour and a half.

We encourage you to worship God comfortably. When you arrive, you will notice that some wear their “Sunday best” while others dress very casually. Whichever you decide, we ask that you please dress modestly and respectfully.

As you walk in, someone should be waiting to greet you. They will gladly answer any questions and show you where to go. You’ll find our main sanctuary up the winding staircase, through the double-doors.

The Heights KIDZone is our fun, high-energy Children’s Chapel that we offer for children and pre-teens during the service.

No, we will not single you out. We will do our best to make you feel welcome without drawing undue attention to you.

The best way to get connected with our church is through our First Steps class which is offered every week during our Sunday School time. First Steps is a four-session class which covers a wide range of information about Christianity, your Christian walk and our church. Upon completion, you will have covered some basic principles that will help you grow in your relationship with Jesus as well as lay the foundation to becoming an active member in our church. You can begin First Steps any Sunday (except 5th) at 9:30am.
