“For a wide door for effective service has opened to me.” ~1 Corinthians 16:9
God has opened a great door for our church to expand our worship services to Central High School beginning in January 2018. Here are a few “frequently asked questions” about this new season at The Heights.
• Why are we moving to Central High School?
o We’re reaching capacity in our current building, and are beginning to run out of room to reach more people with the gospel. This new facility gives us the ability reach more people!
o Also, this opportunity also expands our outreach to share the love of Jesus with a whole new community of people.
• When will the shift officially take place?
o We will have our “Open Door Kickoff Celebration” on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 10:00am featuring Anthony Brown and group therAPy!
• What time will worship begin?
o Worship will begin each Sunday at 10:00am.
• Is childcare available at Central?
o Yes! Our KIDZone staff will be ready to receive you and your children, to give them a fun and safe place to learn about Jesus for themselves.
• Will transportation be available?
o Yes. Our Transportation Ministry will transport interested persons from FBCDH to Central High School. Please arrive before 9:30am to catch the shuttle.
• How will we use our present building?
o We will continue to use our current church building as our ministry headquarters, and will still hold our outreaches, life groups, Bible Study, our Family Worship Service and our ministry meetings there.
• Are there opportunities to serve?
o Yes! We are always in need of people to serve God through our worship ministries such as Audio/Video Media, Ushers & Greeters, Security, KIDZone and more. Click Here to connect with one of these ministries
• How can I contribute?
o Visit fbcdh.org/give to contribute toward our Open Door Campaign. Be sure to specify that your tax-deductible gift is for “Open Door.”
